Quartz Granite FAQ

Quartz is an engineered material composed of about 95% ground, natural quartz stone and 5% manmade materials such as resins and pigments. It’s actually harder than granite and thus, more durable. In fact, quartz is nearly indestructible, and because it isn’t porous like granite, it’s easy to keep your countertops relatively bacteria-free.
After installation quartz can be maintained with common non-abrasive kitchen cleaners. Vulnerable to heat damage: The resins and fillers that provide quartz’s durability also make irreparable damage from hot pans a possibility. Always place hot cookware on trivet and hod pads.
You can use it for indoor use only, such us kitchen tops, bathrooms, stairs.
Quartz is incredibly durable. It stands up well to accidental cuts and scrapes, and doesn’t absorb moisture like granite does. It’s a long-lasting material that—when cared for—should last for decades.
